All personal information supplied to lifeSTORY Family History Research (such as your postal address, email address and telephone number) will be used solely for the purposes of conducting research on your behalf, communicating with you about your research and for administrative purposes.
We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone. We will use your information to respond to you regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organisation without your permission. Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about special offers, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.
When you commission a research project, you provide information to us which includes:

Your name and contact details.

Details of the payment you made to us for invoicing. We have no access to your card details that you supply to PayPal.

Details of your family links e.g. to parent, grandparent etc

Your date and place of birth or marriage details.

Personal data about your family members.
We research information about ancestors dating back as far as possible. Researching historical information on your ancestors follows the General Data
Protection Regulations which came into effect on 25th May 2018. It details how we are free to provide such data to you in the form of a family history research project. If you provide personal data about living family members, we will only use it for completing your family tree project.. Such data may include names and details of birth, marriage or family links. If you think any of your relatives might not want to be included, please contact them first to obtain their permission.
