ROOTS  PACKAGE -  £75

An ideal and affordable starter package for those wishing to know more about their ancestors.   This is a great way to begin the journey to discovering your family.  The Roots Package includes:

  • 1 surname line traced back to the 1901 census
  • A4 Family Tree
  • A brief narrative report in PDF format outlining the results of the research and the sources consulted
  • Private, password protected on-line access to your research report including your family tree
  • A meaning/origin of the surname researched
  • 1 Birth, Marriage or Death Certificate (these cost £9.25 each from the General Register Office)
  • Transcripts of the relevant census records
  • Transcript of the 1939 Register
  • Suggestions for additional research
If you are interested in the Roots Research Package please complete the Family Information Form.  We will then conduct a free initial NO OBLIGATION assessment of the likelihood of our research being successful and then contact you to confirm the results.

If you decide to go ahead with the research we will ask you to pay a 50% deposit (£37.50).  On completion of our research we will contact you to arrange for the balance of the payment to be made.  Once this has been received the report will be delivered to you in your agreed method and will also be available on-line.

FOUNDATION  PACKAGE -  £125

In the Foundation Package we dig deeper back into your history and focus on one chosen surname - aiming to trace your ancestors back to the late 1700s/early 1800s.  The package includes:

  • 1 surname line traced back to the late 1700s/early 1800s
  • A4 Family Tree
  • Professional narrative research report in PDF format outlining the results of the research and the sources consulted
  • Private, password protected on-line access to your research report including your family tree
  • A meaning/origin of the surname researched
  • Up to 3 Birth, Marriage or Death Certificates (these cost £9.25 each from the General Register Office)
  • Transcripts of the relevant census records
  • Transcript of the 1939 Register
  • Suggestions for additional research

Family at a Beach
DISCOVERY PACKAGE  -  £350
In this, our most extensive package, we explore your ancestors' lives in greater detail.  We learn about where they lived, their occupations, working conditions and the historical events that helped shape their lives.

This is our most popular option for those looking for a special gift for a relative or friend.
​
Focussing on one chosen surname, we aim to trace your ancestors back to the early 1800s/late 1700s.  This package is an excellent overview of your family history back to the Georgian Period.
  • 1 surname line traced back to the late 1700s/early 1800s
  • Professional narrative research report presented in PDF format outlining the results of the research and the sources consulted
  • Private, password protected on-line access to your research report including your family tree
  • Your family history in the context of both local and international social history
  • An A3 family tree printed on archival paper
  • A meaning/origin of the surname researched
  • Up to 6 Birth, Marriage or Death Certificates (these cost £9.25 each from the GRO)
  • Transcripts of the relevant census records
  • Transcript of the 1939 Register
  • Suggestions for additional research
